The 77s Confirmed as Performers at AHC & CE 20th Anniversary

Posted on April 22nd, 2009

We will be musically entertained this year by the likes of the "77s". This will be the "77s" 3rd year performing, and they will be celebrating our 20th Anniversary with us. We couldn’t be happier with this decision, as they are entertaining, and a fun group!

The "77s" are a group of good friends who enjoy music and love to jam together. They love all kinds of music and will cover a variety of popular artists such as U2, Bryan Adams, Coldplay, and The Beatles! They are an amateur band, and were formed a few years back just for the Asian Hockey Championship.

The group decided on the name "77s" because they all grew up together, and still attend the Toronto Chinese Alliance Church. The TCAC is located in downtown Toronto at 77 First Avenue (Broadview and Gerrard).

“We were a big supporter of the AHC adding the Cultural Event portion a few years back, and it’s been really nice seeing this side develop over the years”, says Alex Ng, one of the band members.

Come out and enjoy the family oriented cultural activities we have in store this year. Musical performances, martial arts demos, Chinese Lion Dance, family skates, arts and crafts, balloon making and much more.

Please contact us if you would like to participate in the Cultural Event portion of the AHC & CE at changr@mygamesheet.com.

We have had quite a few partners support our league and event each year. We would like to acknowledge them below with their logo.
